What is Organic Dried White Mulberry and How is it Produced?

We collected heirloom mulberries grown naturally in the Ulukale village of Çemişgezek district of Tunceli for you.

Dried fruit is a food that has had almost all of its water content removed by drying methods. During the drying process, the fresh fruit shrinks, leaving an energy-dense dried fruit. Dried fruit is rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals. It is also high in phenolic antioxidants, which have many health benefits.

Fresh mulberries contain about 10% carbohydrates in the form of simple sugars, starch, and soluble and insoluble fibers. They are very high in water (88%) and low in calories. Dried mulberries contain 70% carbohydrates, 14% fiber, 12% protein, and 3% fat.

Mulberries contain high amounts of both iron and vitamin C, as well as moderate amounts of potassium and vitamins E and K.
